Aaron Kaufman-Levine

Aaron joined PING in August 2025. Born and raised in Oak Park, Aaron has long been connected to PING—as both a mentor and a musician—and is excited to continue supporting the organization in a staff role. His commitment to arts equity and community building led him to reconnect with PING after graduating from college, combining his local roots with his passion for expanding access to music education. He brings a collaborative spirit, organizational focus, and deep appreciation for creative learning to his role, helping ensure PING programs run smoothly and continue to serve students and families effectively.

In addition to his work at PING, Aaron teaches private  lessons in Oak Park and maintains an active performance practice in the Chicago area. He is a saxophonist, composer, and improviser and has led the Aaron Kaufman-Levine Quartet at the Chicago Jazz Festival, Constellation and more. He also performs in the improvising saxophone duo Bearduo, the improvising collective BananaAcid, and is co-artistic director of Music in the Garden, an independent Music Festival.
